⭐️ WHAT ARE RELAXATION PRACTICES FOR THE COMMUNITY?

They are shared practices in supportive environments where everyone is welcome and people gather to improve wellbeing and reduce stress and anxiety through various activities such as mindful movement, mindful breathing, muscle relaxation, listening to relaxing music and guided imagery, fostering connections and collective calm, building stronger social support.
It involves creating a safe and nurturing space where people feel accepted and learn practical coping and relaxation techniques together from facilitators and from each other.

⭐️ THE BENEFITS OF COMMUNITY RELAXATION

Enhances wellbeing – lowers stress, anxiety, and low mood
Reduces isolation – shared experiences build mutual trust and belonging
Builds resilience – teaches coping skills for acute stress through self-care practices
